Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional hair styling services, deliver outstanding customer service, and create a welcoming environment for clients. Compensation
- 50/50 commission split between the Barber/Stylist and the Barbershop.
- Earnings are based on services performed and client volume.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable hair treatments or products
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and retail items confidently while maintaining a focus on client needs
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and team members professionally
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- A friendly attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for the beauty industry are essential for success in this role
