Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

Supervise and provide guidance to the Outbound, Picking, and Shipping teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Plan, manage, and control all warehouse activities related to outbound order processing, including scheduling, vacation planning, and resource allocation.

Prioritize customer needs and maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed.

Effectively communicate with team members regarding operational issues, providing clear and constructive feedback.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with governmental regulations and company policies.

Act as a change management leader and coach, encouraging continuous improvement and supporting an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Monitor and manage productivity and KPIs to meet or exceed budgeted targets, identifying areas for improvement.

Optimize order processing activities to better serve business needs, with a focus on customer service and resource efficiency.

Oversee the training of new employees and ongoing training of existing employees to ensure quality and productivity goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Proactively identify potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains to improve overall site operating metrics.

Perform all other related tasks as required to support the overall success of the distribution center.
Expertise & Essential Skills:
-
5 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar role in a unionized distribution environment;

High school diploma or higher in Logistics, Business Administration or Operations;
-
Experience and strong abilities with warehouse management system (WMS), RF Units, ERP (SAP);

Experience in implementing new processes;

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively;

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
-
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements;

Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
-
Ability to drive continuous improvement and lead change initiatives;
-
Experience in training and development of staff;
-
Experience in Continual Improvement program such Lean Six Sigma.
