We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist them with check-in procedures in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using electronic medical records systems
- Manage patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate information and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of patient care services
- Assist with billing procedures and insurance verifications as needed
- Ensure the clinic remains organized and adheres to safety and hygiene standards
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency in administrative tasks
