Job Description
We are seeking experienced Structural Steel Welders to join our growing team in Calgary. In this role, you will perform welding, fabrication, maintenance, and installation work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in producing quality work and maintaining a safe work environment.
Available Shifts
Day Shift
- Start Time: 7:00 AM
- 8 to 10-hour shifts
Afternoon Shift
- Start Time: 3:30 PM
- 8 to 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel and various metals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Fabricate, repair, and install structural steel components.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Certified Welder (CWB or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial or industrial welding experience.
- Experience with structural steel fabrication and installation is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent safety awareness and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
