Project Coordinator
Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports project execution, documentation accuracy, and cross‑functional alignment within Sabre’s federated operating model. This role ensures project information, procurement activities, documentation workflows, and client communications remain tightly coordinated at the business‑unit level while leveraging centralized functions (Finance, HR, Application Solutions & Commercial, IT/Digital) for shared governance and efficiency.
The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, production teams, engineering, procurement, and document control to maintain project momentum, uphold compliance requirements, and ensure customer‑facing execution remains close to the site. This role is accountable for documentation quality, procurement tracking, communication flow, and project support activities that enable successful delivery of industrial electrical projects.
What You’ll Do
- Support RFQ reviews, scope validation, and supplier pricing/lead‑time gathering.
- Review customer POs and change orders for alignment with Sabre’s quoted scope.
- Prepare project documentation (schedules, RFIs, CORs, ITPs, FAT plans, meeting minutes).
- Assist with procurement: vendor coordination, PO issuance, pricing follow‑ups, tracking reports.
- Coordinate document control tasks (transmittals, FTP uploads, traveler docs, turnover packages).
- Support production floor activities, inventory coordination, and rental equipment needs.
- Assist with drawing/spec reviews and BOM checks during design stages.
- Maintain client communication when delegated by the Project Manager.
- Track invoicing milestones, prepare final invoices, and complete close‑out reports.
- Conduct weekly floor walks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, HSE, and Sabre standards.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of leadership or coordination experience in manufacturing or field construction.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation, high‑voltage switchgear, or E‑house construction is an asset.
