We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Répartiteur(trice) to join our dispatch team in Montreal. This role is vital in coordinating transportation activities, managing freight shipments, and ensuring efficient communication across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and experience in shipping and receiving operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth flow of goods while working in a dynamic environment that values precision and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer requirements and operational priorities.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and appointment times.
- Monitor shipments and proactively communicate delays or service issues.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, warehouses, and carriers.
- Ensure all dispatch information is accurate and updated in the transportation management system (TMS).
- Review and verify shipping documents, delivery confirmations, and trip records.
- Assist with route planning to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.
- Work closely with customer service, operations, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment issues.
- Perform other dispatch and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain certifications are a plus.
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred; English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Truck-mate software is an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word), basic knowledge and understanding of TMS applications
- Solid understanding of logistics and transportation, particularly in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic dispatch environment to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask across various responsibilities seamlessly.

Principales responsabilités
- Planifier et répartir les chauffeurs selon les besoins des clients et les priorités opérationnelles.
- Coordonner les cueillettes, les livraisons et les rendez-vous.
- Assurer le suivi des expéditions et communiquer rapidement tout retard ou problème de service.
- Maintenir une communication constante avec les chauffeurs, les clients, les entrepôts et les transporteurs.
- Mettre à jour avec exactitude les informations de répartition dans le système de gestion du transport (TMS).
- Vérifier les documents d'expédition, les preuves de livraison et les dossiers de transport.
- Participer à la planification des itinéraires afin d'optimiser l'efficacité des opérations.
- Veiller au respect des politiques de l'entreprise, des exigences des clients et des règlements applicables au transport.
- Collaborer avec les équipes des opérations, du service à la clientèle et de l'entrepôt afin de résoudre les problèmes liés aux expéditions.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe au poste.
Qualifications
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent; une certification supplémentaire en logistique ou en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement constitue un atout.
- Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est privilégié; la maîtrise de l'anglais est obligatoire.
- La connaissance du logiciel TruckMate constitue un atout.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel et Word) ainsi qu'une connaissance de base des applications de gestion du transport (TMS).
- Bonne compréhension de la logistique et du transport, particulièrement des opérations de transport en chargement partiel (LTL – Less-than-Truckload).
- Capacité à s'adapter à un environnement de répartition dynamique afin d'assurer la satisfaction et la fidélisation de la clientèle.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression tout en maintenant un souci du détail dans un environnement de travail rapide.
- Excellentes compétences en organisation et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et responsabilités simultanément avec efficacité.
Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
