Currently seeking to add a ROCK TRUCK OPERATOR to our team.
Title: Rock Truck Operator
Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Type: Full Time Seasonal
Reporting To: Foreman
Responsibilities and Duties
· Operate rock truck in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines
· Conduct pre-trip/walk around inspections
· Check fluids daily, fill as required
· Confidently operate rock truck in close proximity to ground personnel, other mobile equipment, and other obstructions
· Operator rock truck to transport overburden to stockpiles as directed
· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report/log any maintenance requirements
· Understand, interpret and follow direction from supervisor
· Follow all health and safety policies and conduct work that follows all OH&S requirements
Qualifications and Skills
· Previous experience as a rock truck operator considered an asset
· Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices
· Ability to work weekends and overtime shifts
· Must have own means of transportation
· Valid class 5 driver's license
