The Opportunity
As a valued member of our Finance team, the Contract Specialist is responsible for the developing, evaluating and administering construction, service and supply contracts for the Company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the management of the tendering/contract process including creation, review, negotiation and maintenance of tenders/contracts in compliance with internal Company policies and accepted purchasing practices.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers and internal departments from procurement initiation through to contract execution.
- Ensuring compliance with insurance, bonding, WorkplaceNL and related government legislation.
Your qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business
- 3-5 years' relevant experience in supply management, including contract development, management, and administration.
- Completion of, or enrollment in, the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is desirable.
- Ability to multitask and display strong organizational, computer and decision making skills.
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
