Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support licensed physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with treatment plans, and ensuring a smooth clinical operation. Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Support patients during exercises and mobility activities, ensuring safety and proper technique
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of therapy equipment and treatment spaces
- Provide compassionate patient care, addressing individual needs and comfort
Qualifications
- Prior hospital or acute care experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices within a clinical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Certification or training as a Physiotherapy Assistant is advantageous but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
