Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our kitchen and bathroom renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various installation processes, including cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, and general construction. This role involves working on diverse projects that require technical expertise, precision, and adherence to safety standards. The Installation Technician will play a vital part in delivering high-quality results for our clients across residential and commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of materials and systems
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision
- Cabinet refacing experience
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete installations efficiently
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work where required, ensuring compliance with safety codes
- Apply caulking and perform restoration work to finish projects to client specifications
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning when necessary
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and working at heights
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics
- Hand tools and power tools operation expertise
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical wiring experience preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding kitchen renovations
- Handyman experience or background in restoration projects is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site
