Reports to: Director of Production
At Weatherhaven, we design and manufacture redeployable shelter systems supporting critical operations across defense, research, mining, and healthcare environments worldwide. Our work demands agility, precision, and reliability in a fast-paced, highly diverse manufacturing environment where no two projects are the same. We are seeking an Operations Planner to own production scheduling and work order control across our facility. This role ensures that all work is properly planned, sequenced, and aligned with capacity and material availability while supporting a dynamic mix of custom and repeat production.
Responsibilities include:
- Own and maintain the production schedule across all departments
- Create, release, update, and close work orders in ERP
- Sequence jobs based on capacity, priorities, and material readiness
- Ensure demand driving MRP is accurate, clean, and achievable
- Coordinate with Production Managers, Supply Chain, and Project Management
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to maintain flow
- Validate material availability and flag shortages early
- Maintain ERP accuracy as the single scheduling source of truth
- Analyze planned vs actual job times and scrap/yield trends
- Plan and manage stock requirements based on CRM demand signals and forecasts
Qualifications:
- Experience in production planning or scheduling
- Strong ERP/MRP experience
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and analytical skills
