We’re looking for experienced DJs to perform at weddings and private events throughout the Calgary/Banff area.
This role is ideal for DJs who already know how to read a crowd, mix smoothly, and keep a dance floor moving.
Most events take place on Saturdays with Friday/Sunday opportunities.
Pay
$300–$600 per event depending on experience.
Requirements
- Preferably 1 year DJ experience
- Strong knowledge of wedding music and multiple genres (pop, hip hop, throwbacks, country, dance, etc.)
- Preferably able to mix songs smoothly and read the crowd
- Comfortable or motivated to use the microphone for announcements and hyping the dance floor
- Reliable vehicle for transportation to events
- Must be available on Saturdays
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Wedding DJ experience
- Experience with open-format mixing
- Experience on the mic
What You'll Be Doing
- DJing weddings and receptions
- Mixing music across multiple genres to keep the dance floor full
- Making announcements when needed
- Working with event timelines and coordinating with wedding vendors
