Arcus Community Resources is seeking a highly proficient Data and Accounting Assistant to support a significant payroll project.
This is a full-time, project-based position to start, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
Arcus is currently calculating retroactive pay for approximately 500 unionized employees. The successful candidate will support this process by working with payroll and leadership to organize data, run pivot tables, complete calculations, review information for accuracy, and communicate with employees regarding their retroactive pay reports.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of detailed information. Experience with payroll, accounting, human resources, or unionized environments would be considered a strong asset.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and organizing payroll and wage data
Running pivot tables and performing detailed calculations
Supporting retroactive pay calculations for unionized employees
Liaising with payroll and internal leadership
Preparing and reviewing employee reports
Communicating professionally with employees regarding their reports
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy throughout the process
