**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional customer service.
**Duties:**
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Process insurance claims and manage billing issues
- Provide quality customer service by answering inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring patient satisfaction
- Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions
**Experience:**
- At least 2 years experience as a pharmacy assistant in Canada
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
-Proficient in Fillware is an asset
