King Tandoori is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Waiter or Waitress to join our restaurant team. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent service, and being part of a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve meals and drinks while ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and specials.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
- Process payments and handle customer transactions.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Support with live caterings as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar environment).
- Ability to speak Punjabi/Hindi & English.
- Strong understanding of Indian Cuisine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous restaurant serving experience is an asset but not required.

Compensation
This position pays minimum wage, in accordance with applicable employment standards.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
