Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our growing team at M&M Painting Contractors / Vander Holdings Corp. This role is ideal for someone with a background in accounting / admin / bookeeping who will have hands-on experience supporting real estate development projects and managing rental property portfolios. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and managing multiple assets. Day to day assisting management with a variety of tasks
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for development and rental properties
- Ensure accurate recording of all transactions
- Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reviews
Development Projects
- Track project costs, budgets, and timelines for development projects
- Manage job cost accounting
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Monitor construction draws, lender requirements, and capital expenditures
Rental Property Management
- Record rental income, operating expenses, and tenant-related transactions
- Leasing & dealing directly with tenants
- Social Media assistance
Qualifications
- Preferred 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, development, or property management
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate with office staff and owners
