Position Summary:
The Facilities Department ensures that the hospital’s equipment, facilities, structures, and infrastructure effectively support its mission of delivering the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems throughout the hospital. This role ensures that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with healthcare standards, supporting both patient care and overall facility operations.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic / Millwright – 433A or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare or institutional environment
- Experience with boilers, pumps, HVAC systems, and mechanical plant equipment
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
