Job Summary
The Auto Body Preparer / Car Wash Person is responsible for supporting the auto body repair and refinishing process by preparing vehicles for painting and ensuring all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned before and after repairs. This role involves sanding, masking, and cleaning vehicles, assisting painters and technicians, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Attention to detail, time management, and a strong work ethic are essential for ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles/parts for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces
- Wash and detail vehicles before and after repairs
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment
- Inspect vehicles for quality before delivery to customers
- Support shop operations by moving vehicles, organizing tools, and helping with general tasks
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of auto body preparation and cleaning processes
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
