Are you looking for an independently-owned practice where you can:
- Be a better doctor through collaboration with like-minded colleagues
- Practice the thoughtful medicine you believe in, knowing management has your back
- Provide your patients with better access-to-care, more timely diagnostics, and more advanced treatment options than your typical GP
…and still be home for dinner?
Neighbourhood Pet Clinic is seeking a fully-licensed small animal veterinarian to join our collaborative, independently owned group of clinics serving the London area. We are building a place to practice more comprehensive general practice medicine in London, and are looking for passionate clinicians who want to be a part of that.
We are currently looking to fill approximately 1.0 FTE of veterinary coverage, which may be structured as a single full-time position or a combination of part-time, locum, or flexible roles, as part of our commitment to support the work-life balance of our team.
What your day will look like:
- 30-minute appointments for unhurried, high-quality medical and wellness care
- 1:1 pairing with a strong veterinary technician
- No double-booking, and support in place to finish work on time at the end of each day
- Built-in time for records, follow-ups, and client communication
- Timely access to diagnostic ultrasonography for your patients (within days, not weeks) and advanced radiography support available for textbook positioning, diagnostic-quality images, and continuous learning.
- Surgical opportunities available for those interested in soft tissue, dentistry or orthopedic surgery, but not required.
- Comfortable, updated uniform options to fit your personal style and preferences.
- Flexible scheduling with competitive compensation in accordance with contract type and experience ($65–$88/hour for Part-Time/Casual or $137,836–$188,885 annually for Full-Time senior veterinarians)
As a veterinarian at Neighbourhood Pet Clinic, you’ll have the opportunities to explore the areas of medicine that most interest you. Plus, as an independently-owned clinic, we support our veterinarians’ autonomy; we’re happy to keep your preferred products in stock and find the workflow that works best for you to provide the patient care you believe in.
About Our Veterinarians
Many of our veterinarians are balancing busy professional lives with family commitments. We work hard to create schedules that support both, because (whether it’s daycare pickup, school events, family responsibilities, athletics, or time to recharge) we believe longevity in this profession depends on having room for life outside the clinic.
But don’t just take it from us… we invite you to come meet our team! Reach out to our manager, Allison, to arrange for a clinic tour and a casual meet & greet with our doctors and support staff.
Please note that while we embrace new technology, hiring at NPC is always personal; we do use AI to screen, assess, or select applicants. This position is to fill a current vacancy, but as a multi-location practice, we have flexibility in scheduling. Therefore, we are open to any full-time, part-time, casual, or locum veterinarian that is a good fit for our medical team, regardless of availability or location preference. If you are looking for more (or fewer) hours, or only opportunities at a specific location, we encourage you to reach out!
Pay: $53.19-$88.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- General/unrestricted license with the CVO (required)
Work Location: In person
