We are actively recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a female private employer with Cerebral Palsy in all activities of daily living.
The employer enjoys playing on her computer, youtube, and loves listening to music.
The ideal candidate would have a sense of humor, enjoy playing games and listening to music with the employer as well as be patient and adaptable.
Location: Okanagan Falls, BC
Shifts & Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 5PM to 9PM
- Additional shifts available from time to time
Compensation: $26.50 an hour
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Eating assistance
- Ceiling lift transfers
- Medication administration
- Light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, vacuuming, cleaning commode and bath chair and taking out garbage
- Assisting on errands, shopping, going to the movies, etc
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of caregiving experience required
- Physically fit and able to do the job
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Comfortable driving a regular minivan to take the employer into the community
- Patient and adaptable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.50 per hour
