Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our team. Must be available Saturday and Sunday night. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils in a fast-paced restaurant. Prior experience is not required, but is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary dishware and utensils are available for food service
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep the work area organized and sanitary
- Additional cleaning throughout the restaurant such as mopping and sweeping spills, bathroom checks and etc. may also be required periodically
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliability, and an understanding that this is a pivotal role in the restaurant and attendance and punctuality are of the utmost importance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with physical stamina
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable
Pay: $18.60 per hour
