ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Account Management is key for NP Digital Canada to successfully deliver for our clients. Account Managers at NPD provide value to the business through improving and executing management processes that drive on-time deliverables, quality of work that exceeds client expectations and provides optimized project financial results.
We are seeking a strategic thinker to serve as an Account Manager for our company. Someone who is a great communicator with an eye for organization and proficiency to coordinate the execution of multiple medium to enterprise-level projects.
The Account Manager is a client-facing role and key for the successful delivery of mandates to our clients. The AM is responsible for coordinating and planning deliverables as well as monitoring project performance. Working both as an individual contributor and collaboratively with a team, this role is responsible for building and maintaining healthy client relationships and supporting the team to provide an excellent overall client experience – from meeting quality requirements to on-time delivery that align with client expectations.
The ideal candidate for this role understands project management principles and process groups (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, closing) and has a working knowledge of digital marketing in a fast-moving agile environment. Specific SEO experience is a huge asset. This person is a self-starter who is organized and demonstrates good interpersonal communication skills, is solutions-driven, and can work effectively on cross-functional teams.
The Account Manager will report into the VP, Client Services and also work closely with an Account Director as well as the internal team to create program strategy, obtain client approvals, keep the project on schedule, and ensure client requirements and business goals are well-defined and achieved. Client retention should be the Account Manager’s primary objective.
This role is available due to an internal transition, offering a great opportunity for a new team member to join and make an impact.
To qualify candidate must reside and be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship. The position is remote; however, you must live in the GTA as there are weekly in-person client meetings.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Interface with clients, strategic leads, and supporting account team to deliver for clients across a wide array of industries

Demonstrate confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the agency

Use a data-driven approach via web analytics for monitoring and reporting of online marketing campaigns

Acquire in-depth knowledge of each clients’ business including key issues, competitive situation and industry trends

Demonstrate good judgment, ability to foresee potential issues, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Effectively present the agency’s POV, recommendations, and deliverables to a range of client audiences

Serve as a thought leader and client advocate for new technologies, platforms, and programs

Work alongside other Account Managers and Leadership to create roadmaps, plan strategic initiatives & lead optimization efforts to hit client goals and targets

Ability to define KPIs and deliver on client objectives and targets for volume and ROI

Work closely with vendors to ensure quality deliverables for our customers
ABOUT YOU

2-4 years’ account management experience in agency environment or client-side digital marketing experience required

A passion for marketing and client service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated organizational skills and extreme attention to detail.

Able to work independently and efficiently to meet organizational goals

Deadline-oriented, and able to deliver high quality work to clients in a fast pace environment

Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with performance marketing (e.g SEO, email marketing, CRO, DAI, Paid Media)

Self-motivated, self-starter, able to independently execute in a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities

Ability to act as a mentor and work well in a team environment

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION

Base Salary: CAD $70,000.00 to $80,000.00; depending on experience and skills
