ATCO Frontec is seeking an on-site Health, Safety, Environment, And Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our Camp Services team at Jansen Discovery Lodge, in Jansen, SK. The HSEQ Advisor is responsible for planning organizing, coordinating, coaching, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the HSEQ Management Program overall for the lodge. They are a key member of a multi-disciplinary team and assist in the mitigation and management of HSE risks.
- Compile data and assists in the preparation of periodic KPI reporting and all HSE reports
- Post-secondary education in Health and Safety is required.
- CRSP Designation or scheduled to complete designation
- A minimum of seven years of experience in Health and Safety is required.
- Experience with OHS cultural turn arounds; specifically in remote locations considered an asset
- Possess a logical, methodical approach to his/her work and must be accurate when taking measurements and recording figures.
- Experience and knowledge of health, safety and environment management systems are an asset
- HSE data input, analysis, and report generation/manipulation skills are an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write French would be considered an asset.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
