Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Parcel Delivery Associate to join our team. This role involves delivering packages efficiently and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of heavy lifting, possess strong communication skills, and have experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to supplement their income while contributing to a fast-paced logistics environment.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and move parcels using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and address any concerns professionally
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the delivery vehicle and warehouse area
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve service efficiency
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of packages regularly
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or relevant driving experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
- Good physical condition, capable of standing, walking, and lifting throughout shifts
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work part-time hours, including flexibility for early mornings or late afternoons depending on route schedules
Pay: $80.00-$350.00 per hour
