Staff Plus is hiring for Food Packers for an Industrial Bakery in Mississauga (Kennedy&Courtney Park)
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour + Shift Preium(gross pay, inclusive of vacation pay and subject to statutory deductions like EI, CPP, and income tax).
Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM (Additional $1.00/hourshift premium)
Key Responsibilities
- Shape, dip, decorate, and package small pastries and products by hand meeting production targets according to company standards.
- Inspect ingredients and finished products for consistency in size, appearance, and taste.
- Maintain clean workstations, tools, and equipment while following food hygiene, health, and safety guidelines.
- Work cooperatively to meet daily production quotas and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift between 30- 40 pounds (sometimes)
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- No Jewelry or Accessories: Includes earrings, bracelets, watches, rings, nose rings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, or nail polish.
- Dress Code: No hoodies, loose/baggy clothing, or strong perfumes/scents.
- Prohibited Items: No glass containers, food, gum, peanut/nut-based products, seafood, or shellfish.
