Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a Journeyperson Electrician for work in Fort Saskatchewan, AB:
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Schedule Rotation: Monday - Friday, 8-hour days
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Base hourly rate of $48.82
- Position starts August 4, 2026
- Duration - 2 year plus
What You Will Be Working On
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of all building lighting systems on site, operation of EWP will be required.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of all high bay and pole lighting from an EWP.
- Install, repair, and maintain electric motors for various styles of pumps on site.
- Maintain and perform monthly checks on building emergency lighting.
- Install new wire from existing panels to new and existing equipment on site.
- Install conduit for regular service and explosion proof applications
- Install and maintain heat tracing
- Perform voltage checks on motors
- Meggar new and existing conductor installations
- All scopes to be performed for maintenance will be for 600V or less.
- Follow all safety requirements including permits, hazard assessments, confined space procedures, and PPE expectations.
- General electrical system maintenance for non-process equipment and buildings at the Shell Scotford refinery site.
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Journeyperson Certificate
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license to operate supplied company vehicles onsite.
- Must provide own transportation to site.
