Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary wellness team, with a focus on supporting individuals recovering from Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs). This role is ideal for a clinician who values client-centered care and wants to make a meaningful impact on people navigating physical, emotional, and psychological recovery.
You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment alongside other health professionals, helping clients manage trauma, pain-related stress, anxiety, mood changes, and adjustment challenges following accidents.
What You’ll Do
- Provide psychological assessment and treatment for clients involved in MVAs.
- Support clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, or adjustment-related concerns
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals
- Complete required clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports for MVA cases in accordance with regulatory and insurer guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support holistic recovery
- Educate clients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and recovery-focused tools
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Psychologist (or eligible for registration) in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- Experience working with MVA patients and third-party insurers is a strong asset
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care, CBT, pain management, or rehabilitation psychology is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse clients
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- A compassionate, professional approach with genuine interest in client recovery
