Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment appropriately during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with staff and visitors
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and consistency in completing assigned duties
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
