Casual Registered Nurse (R.N.)
Job Summary
Contours Oral Surgery is a non-hospital surgical facility that provides oral maxillofacial services. The successful candidate will be part of the PACU team, working alongside surgeons, pediatric dentists, anesthesiologists, and registered dental assistants to provide safe, confident, and quality care to pediatric and adult patients. Training will be provided to support new staff into the dental software system used at the office as well as other relevant administrative duties.
Required qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) in good standing
- Current BLS- HCP
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care
- Experience in pediatric / adult critical care( ER/ICU) PACU or non-hospital surgical facilities
- Experience with procedural sedation and /or general anesthesia is it asset
- Pediatric experience is an asset
- Preference will be given to candidates with active ACLS and PALS certification
