Steel Tooth Contracting is hiring a Skid Steer Operator / Labourer to join our team for the 2026/2027 season.
This is a full-time, year-round position for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and understands that safety always comes first.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to the shop — no exceptions Experience operating a skid steer Ability to grade accurately and efficiently Knowledge of setting and checking grades with a laser Ability to cut pipe and read a tape measure accurately Comfortable performing hard physical labour and working outdoors in all conditions Ability to work independently and lead labourers when required Dependable and ready to work every day Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safety-first attitude Ability to keep the worksite clean, organized, and safe Strong teamwork and communication skills
SAFETY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
Every employee is expected to look out for their own safety and the safety of their coworkers. Proper PPE, safe equipment operation, awareness of surroundings, and compliance with site procedures are required every day.
