We are seeking a friendly, professional Guest Service Agent/Resort Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience throughout their stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous hotel or front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional guest care and hospitality.
Duties
- Friendly, personable, and confident interacting with guests
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide accurate information about resort amenities, local attractions, and services
- Respond promptly to guest needs and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and on the spot
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and transactions using resort management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are addressed swiftly
- Uphold high standards of guest service, and hospitality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing guest requests efficiently
- Making and serving drinks
- Comfortable lifting 20+ lbs
- Maintaining fires, hot pools/hot tubs and overall guest comfort
- Stocking wood, shovelling, and assisting with outdoor tasks as needed
- Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining high standards throughout the property
- Answering emails and gaining strong knowledge of the business and its offerings
- Reliable transportation - we’re located 25 minutes from downtown Moncton
- Can work independently, take initiative, and use good old-fashioned common sense
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations, hotel reception, or customer service roles is preferred
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest services software is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and hotel/resort operations is advantageous
- Experience working with diverse populations and handling multiple priorities simultaneously will be beneficial
- Experience working in the restaurant/bar industry is an asset
