Position Description
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) registered in Manitoba who is excited to work with clients across both Family Dietitians and Plant-Based Dietitians. Registration in Saskatchewan is an additional asset and may provide opportunities to support clients in both provinces.
This is a 100% remote independent contractor opportunity with a flexible caseload.
This opportunity can range from approximately 10–40 hours per week, depending on your goals, preferred caseload, availability, and client demand. You choose the level of availability that works for you, and we collaborate with you to build your caseload toward your preferred number of client hours.
This can be a great fit whether you are looking for a part-time caseload or would eventually like to build toward full-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition consultations
- Support clients with fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and family nutrition
- Support vegan, vegetarian, and plant-forward clients with their nutrition needs
- Develop practical, personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies
- Manage client documentation and communication through Practice Better
- Adapt nutrition counselling to each client’s individual needs, priorities, lifestyle, and family circumstances
- Collaborate with our team while independently managing your own clients
Requirements
- Active registration as a Registered Dietitian in Manitoba (mandatory)
- Active registration in Saskatchewan is considered a strong asset
- Strong interest or experience in pediatric, family, pregnancy/perinatal, and/or plant-based nutrition
- Comfortable supporting vegan, vegetarian, and plant-forward clients
- Comfortable providing virtual nutrition care and using digital tools
- Excellent English communication and counselling skills
- Interest in developing a consistent virtual caseload
- Comfortable working collaboratively while independently managing client care
