At Khachi, design and construction are inseparable. For more than three decades, we have delivered custom homes and luxury renovations through an integrated design-build approach rooted in architecture, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Every project reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, quality construction, and exceptional execution. From initial concepts and planning through construction and completion, our team works collaboratively to create highly refined residential environments that are both beautiful and enduring.
We are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager with a strong professional background in videography and filmmaking to help tell the stories behind our work.
This is first and foremost a hands-on content creation role. The successful candidate will spend significant time behind the camera—filming active construction sites, completed homes, craftsmanship, design details, interviews, project walkthroughs, and the people responsible for bringing our projects to life.
We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional video is more than capturing footage. You should understand composition, lighting, movement, sound, pacing, editing, and storytelling, and know how to bring these elements together to create content with a distinct point of view.
The role also includes managing Khachi's social media presence and translating this original content into a thoughtful, consistent digital presence across our platforms.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Brand Development Manager, the Content Creator & Social Media Manager will lead the day-to-day capture, production, editing, and distribution of original photo and video content for the Khachi brand.
You will regularly visit active construction sites, completed residences, design meetings, workshops, supplier locations, and other environments where the Khachi story is unfolding.
A significant component of this position is videography and video production. Candidates must be highly comfortable operating a professional camera independently and taking a video from initial concept through filming, editing, colour correction, sound, and final delivery.
Content will range from fast-moving social content and project updates to more considered cinematic pieces, interviews, project films, and brand storytelling.
A strong videography background is mandatory for this position.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideography & Video Production
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality video content that captures Khachi's projects, people, process, and craftsmanship.
- Independently operate professional mirrorless/DSLR camera equipment in active construction environments and completed residential spaces.
- Capture cinematic footage of architecture, interiors, construction processes, materials, craftsmanship, and project details.
- Understand and confidently execute camera composition, exposure, frame rates, lenses, stabilization, lighting, and camera movement.
- Set up and capture professional-quality audio for interviews, conversations, voiceovers, and on-site storytelling.
- Film and direct project walkthroughs, interviews, team features, client testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and completed projects.
- Work comfortably with team members who may not be accustomed to being on camera, providing direction where required to create natural and compelling footage.

- Edit footage into polished short-form and long-form content with strong pacing, music, sound design, colour correction/grading, graphics, and transitions where appropriate.
- Adapt footage into multiple formats for Instagram, LinkedIn, website, YouTube, and other marketing applications.
- Maintain an organized archive of raw footage, photography, project assets, and completed content.
- Continually identify opportunities on-site to capture moments, details, processes, and stories that others may overlook.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Visit active job sites and completed projects regularly to capture original content.
- Develop compelling stories around custom homes, renovations, architecture, interior design, construction, craftsmanship, and the people behind the work.
- Find the story within a project rather than simply documenting its progress.
- Create content that educates, inspires, and builds trust with homeowners, designers, architects, trades, and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with the Brand Development Manager to develop creative concepts, recurring content series, project features, and larger brand stories.
- Translate technical construction and design processes into engaging, visually compelling content.
- Maintain a sophisticated and consistent visual language appropriate for a premium design-build brand.

- Support professional project photography and campaign shoots where required.

- Manage day-to-day activity across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar in collaboration with the Brand Development Manager.
- Translate captured footage into Reels, Stories, project updates, educational content, and other platform-specific formats.
- Write thoughtful captions and supporting copy that align with Khachi's brand voice.
- Publish and schedule content across platforms.
- Monitor audience engagement, comments, and direct messages.
- Stay current with emerging content formats, platform changes, and relevant social trends without compromising the integrity of the brand.

The Ideal Candidate
You are a videographer and visual storyteller at your core.
You notice the way a craftsman's hands work, the moment a piece of stone is installed, the geometry of an architectural detail, the progression of a home under construction, and the personalities behind the process—and you instinctively understand how to turn those moments into a story.
You are equally comfortable filming a polished completed residence and walking through an active construction site with a camera looking for the details worth capturing.
You understand how to make something feel cinematic without making it feel manufactured.
You have strong technical instincts behind the camera, but you also understand pacing, emotion, sound, narrative, and what makes someone continue watching.
You are proactive rather than waiting for a shot list to be handed to you. You see opportunities for content, develop ideas, and take ownership of bringing them to life.
Most importantly, you care about the quality of what you produce. At Khachi, the details matter in what we build, and they should matter just as much in how we document it.
