Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Conference Sponsorship Manager to lead our efforts in securing strategic sponsorship partnerships for Canada's largest Indigenous business summits and our industry-leading conferences and events. This role is vital in driving revenue growth, expanding our network of sponsors, and enhancing the overall value proposition of our events. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for business development, exceptional negotiation skills, and a keen eye for market analysis to identify new sponsorship opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your leadership and communication skills to build lasting relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations that elevate our brand presence on a global scale.

Duties

Identify and target potential sponsors through comprehensive market research and analysis to align with event themes and audience demographics
Develop compelling sponsorship packages that highlight value propositions tailored to prospective partners’ marketing objectives
Lead negotiations with sponsors to secure favorable terms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and revenue targets
Manage existing sponsor relationships through regular communication, account management, and renewal processes to maximize retention
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to integrate sponsor branding seamlessly into event materials, digital platforms, and onsite activities
Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sponsorship pipeline stages, manage contacts, and analyze engagement metrics
Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate sponsorship performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for future growth

Experience

Knowledge and sensitivity towards Indigenous people and concepts.
Proven success in business development or B2B sales roles within the events, marketing, or sponsorship industries
Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through previous partnership agreements or contract negotiations
Experience in account management with a focus on cultivating long-term sponsor relationships
Familiarity with marketing strategies and how they translate into sponsorship value propositions
Analytical skills to assess market trends, sponsor data, and campaign effectiveness for strategic decision-making
Proficiency in Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms for pipeline management and reporting
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and build rapport with diverse audiences
