Cannon Automotive Solutions a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Department Administrator in our Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Department Administrator is responsible for supporting the daily operations . The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities
Timekeeping/Payroll for plant, back up support for sister plants and contingent workforce.
Assist with the full cycle recruitment process of our General Labour and Part-Time labour pool, including screening, evaluation, interviewing and onboarding candidates
Manage Part-Time workforce, scheduling, and all correspondences, back up scheduling support for contingent workforce.
Initial point of contact for employee touchpoints.
Oversee HR Orientation for new hires.
Input all onboarding documents in to the HRIS system, new hires into PPE vending machine and request access badges.
Distribute, collect, and retain training documents.
Administer clothing allowance program through Cintas.
Provide administrative support to key departments at respective facility.
Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material, co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.
Order and maintain office supply inventory.
Answer and relay phone and electronic enquiries.
Assist in the organization of company events
Greet visitors, verify ID, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or 1-3 years experiences in an administrative type role
Experience administering payroll processes
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint
Experience working with sensitive and confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $62,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
