We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. Nuhn Industries Ltd. is a family-owned agricultural manufacturing company and we’re hiring a MIG Welder to join our growing production team. This position is available to fill a current vacancy in our fabrication team, and you’ll be joining an established, experienced group. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Use calipers and basic math skills to measure materials precisely for cutting and welding tasks
- Rigging of materials and components as needed for assembly or installation processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding; experience with TIG welding is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and construction processes
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience operating plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards related to ductwork, structural steel, or similar projects
- Ability to work safely around welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
