Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
This role involves assembling, installing, cleaning, processing, verifying, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies across one or multiple product lines. You will follow established assembly procedures, meet production schedules, and help ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities

Assemble, install, process, clean, verify, test, and inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines.

Operate shop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively as required for production tasks.

Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, methods, diagrams, workmanship standards, and other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures.

Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety procedures associated with production processes and the work area.

Monitor, complete, and record production and quality-related documentation to meet quality requirements.

Follow production build rates and schedules, and consistently meet established time standards.

Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.

Communicate clearly with team members and support a collaborative, team-based production environment.

Participate in training and cross-training as needed to support different product lines or tasks.
Essential Skills-
Ability to perform general labor and assembly tasks in a production environment.

Proficiency in using hand tools and basic shop equipment.

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and perform repetitive work throughout the shift.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Good written, verbal, reading, and basic math skills.

Basic computer skills for accessing work instructions and recording production or quality data.

Ability to work either AM or PM shift as required.

Strong motivation to work and clearly articulated reasons for wanting the job.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute as a flexible team player.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Familiarity with 5S principles and lean manufacturing concepts is an asset.

Comfort working in a structured, process-driven production setting.

Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production needs.

Reliability and punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts and training times.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily on the second shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a requirement to complete initial training on the first shift from 6:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. The role involves standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and performing repetitive tasks in a production setting. You will work with hand tools and shop equipment while following established safety and environmental procedures. The schedule includes two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute break per shift. The environment emphasizes adherence to standardized processes, attention to quality, and collaboration within a team-based production floor.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $28.50/hr.
