Wills Transfer Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable AP/AR Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the business, with a primary focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and accurate financial recordkeeping.

The successful candidate will be organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. They will work closely with internal teams, vendors, customers, and members of the Finance department to ensure invoices, payments, billing, and account information are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, match supporting documentation, and ensure proper coding and approval.
Prepare and process payments in accordance with company timelines and procedures.
Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare customer invoices and support accurate billing based on customer agreements, operational activity, and internal documentation.
Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and support collection efforts where required.
Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts as assigned.
Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, billing, and account discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
Support internal departments with finance-related questions, documentation, and process requirements.
Assist with audits, reporting, process improvements, and other accounting projects as required.
Follow company policies, accounting procedures, confidentiality requirements, and internal controls.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting role.
Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize work in a busy environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate discrepancies.
Professional communication skills when working with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
Comfortable working with accounting software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or a service-based business is considered an asset.
