Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Research Production Technologist to assist in the manufacturing of Bioteem40's liquid and lyophilized product lines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the production processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency while contributing to the development of innovative product formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
The Production Technologist will work closely with the Senior Research Scientist/Formulation Scientist and will be responsible for:
1. Conducting batch-fed fermentations.
2. Overseeing large-scale production and formulation processes.
3. Writing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
4. Maintaining quality control protocols, accurate record keeping, and compliance with SFFC regulations.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience with large-scale product formulations.
3. Excellent communication skills and document control capabilities.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Experience working in cleanroom production environments.
6. Knowledge of aseptic and sanitary techniques for production.
7. Familiarity with quality control testing and evaluation methods.
8. Ability to execute designed R&D experiments effectively.
9. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
10. Innate problem-solver with the ability to follow instructions and provide solutions and insights regarding technical challenges.
