Job Title: Full Time Security Site Supervisor

Position Overview
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Site Supervisor for Cambridge Centre Mall. The successful candidate will primarily work afternoon shift during the week and Saturday-dayshift; however, this position may require the occasional shift adjustments based on need.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills, abilities, and experience:

- Leadership and supervisory experience are an asset
Major Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach security personnel, ensuring all staff is equipped and uniformed as per the standard before signing on duty.
- Assist with coordinating training to include in-service and refresher training.
- Completion of Incident Reports and critiquing of security personnel Incident Reports promptly, to include ensuring Incidents Reports are complete, accurate, aligned with the Standing Orders, and distributed accordingly.
- Actively participate with security programs to include prohibited activity enforcement, plainclothes operations, parking enforcement, vehicle inspections, community policing, and the enforcement of life safety and other violations.
- Identify security awareness deficiencies and makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Completion of projects as assigned by the Security Leadership Team.
- Complete all training and documents related to training when assigned a trainee. Ensure monthly follow-ups are conducted and any additional training is conducted as required.
- Provide vacation, sick, and break relief to the Security Site Supervisors. When providing said coverage, responsible for the duties as detailed in the Security Shift Supervisor Job Description.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Must have 2 years of experience in a security field (tactical site preferred such as commercial office tower, malls, hospital, etc)
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily mall operations and site activities
- Monitor security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, mall policies, and emergency procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, defects, or maintenance issues
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs and services
- Support crowd control and manage issues during peak hours, events, or emergencies
- Handle tenant and customer complaints professionally and escalate when required
- Maintain daily reports, incident logs, and attendance records
- Assist in training and supervising on-site staff
- Ensure cleanliness, accessibility, and overall presentation of the mall
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security supervision/management capacity is an asset.
- A Certificate in Law & Security Administration, Police Foundations, or the completion of other post-secondary education is an asset.
- A proven record of experience supervising security teams and/or functions.
- Previous law enforcement or high-profile security experience within a corporate organization, property management, or public agency is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- A fundamental knowledge of state-of-the-art security technology such as alarm and access control systems, CCTV systems, communications technologies, and general MS software programs.
- Excellent personal computing skills to include all office-related products and familiarity with specialized security applications.
- Working knowledge of property management operations.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with an emphasis on multi-tasking and shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor under very stressful situations.
- Must be self-motivated and consistently show initiative.
Working Conditions
- Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions when responding to or managing emergencies or incidents.
