Job Overview

We are a fast-growing SaaS company dedicated to developing innovative communication solutions that help organizations connect with employees, customers, and stakeholders through cloud-based technology. Our platform enables businesses to deliver dynamic, personalized content across digital displays, dashboards, desktops, and mobile devices.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial & Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where they can contribute to both day-to-day accounting operations and strategic financial initiatives.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Develop financial analyses to support business decisions and operational performance.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
Support revenue recognition and expense analysis.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate and complete.
Assist with GST/HST reporting and regulatory compliance.
Build and maintain financial dashboards and management reports.
Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting and financial reporting processes.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls.
Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
Assist with commission calculations, recurring revenue reporting, and subscription tracking.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and Leadership to provide financial insights and reporting.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA designation or actively enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or finance operations.
Experience in a SaaS, software, or technology company is preferred.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with QuickBooks Online.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
Experience with financial reporting software such as Fathom is an asset.
Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and burn rate is considered an asset.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
