We are looking for a hands-on Controller who wants to do more than close the books. You'll be a trusted advisor to our leadership team, helping drive operational decisions, improve profitability, and support the continued growth of a thriving manufacturing business.

What You will Be Doing
As our Controller, you'll lead the finance function while partnering closely with operations, production, and executive leadership. Your days will include:

Leading the full-cycle accounting function including month-end, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger
Delivering timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that help leadership make informed decisions
Becoming the financial expert behind our manufacturing operations by overseeing cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
Working alongside plant leadership to understand production performance, margins, inventory levels, and opportunities for continuous improvement
Strengthening internal controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy
Coordinating annual audits while building strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
Leading ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvement projects that make everyone's jobs easier
Coaching and mentoring the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
Providing meaningful financial insights that help shape strategic business decisions

What You Bring
You're someone who enjoys balancing technical accounting with business partnership and operational thinking.

You'll likely have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA designation (or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility
Manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing
Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
ERP experience within a manufacturing environment
Advanced Excel skills and a natural curiosity for analyzing data
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across finance, operations, and executive leadership

Bonus Points If You Have

Multi-site manufacturing experience
Experience leading ERP implementations or system upgrades
Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
KPI development and operational reporting expertise
Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance
