- Support the close process at the real estate/property level to expedite reporting calendars while minimizing errors and late adjustments
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of financial reporting professionals
- Ensure rigorous reconciliation of intercompany balances across the organization’s complex ownership structure, and oversee accurate capital stack reporting across debt, equity and profit-share positions
- Lead initiatives to standardize accounting policy and strengthen internal controls
- Roll up your sleeves to identify and drive significant process and system improvements - modernizing legacy reporting processes and tools, and building the infrastructure needed to support a growing, increasingly complex organization
- Act as a point of contact for financial reporting queries from internal and external partners and auditors
- Foster your team's growth and champion Anthem's Culture, in the spirit of The Anthem Way
