We are looking for an experienced /Senior CNC Machinist. Must have extensive knowledge and working ability of G and M code, using Mastercam and at a machine's control .
Responsibilities include:
- Create, modify, improve current and new programs. Including: training /sharing knowledge with capable staff.
- Setup CNC lathes. Perform complete tooling changeovers. Trouble shooting.
- Be a part of machine maintenance when required.
- Primary responsibility would not include production operating, but will be required as needed in order to meet customer deadlines.
- Adjusting G and M codes, speeds/feeds and other lines of code within a program as needed
- Advising/training current Machine Manager/Operators of any improvements that can be made (i.e. tooling, organizing, cycle times, work flow and set ups)
- Communicate with Management to meet production needs and meet customer deadlines
- Keeping an organized and clean work area is a must
- Accurately using measuring tools to confirm parts meet customer specifications
- Keeping a positive and working relationship with co-workers is a must
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 year operating Fanuc controlled CNC machines (other control software would be valued)
- Experience operating, setting up and *programming 3 axis lathes. (preferred: experience with Fanuc Controls)
- Analytical thinking
- Interpersonal skills ( including working effectively with co-workers and Management)
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints, and various symbols regarding surface finishes & tolerances
- Experience using various metrology equipment to confirm parts meet customer’s required specs
- Must have full working ability with CAD/CAM software.
- Must have full working ability with CNC programming (G and M codes)
A new CNC mill machine is being installed. Any CNC milling experience would be valued.

We are hiring for day shift: 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday with optional overtime when needed throughout the week and on Saturday’s. If preferred by you, second shift hours are available.
