Temporary Shipper/Receiver (30 Hours/Week)

We're looking for a dependable and organized Temporary Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team while one of our employees is away on short-term medical leave.
What You'll Do
- Receive incoming shipments and accurately verify products against packing slips and sales orders.
- Count, inspect, and organize inventory.
- Stock products in the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Label and route products to the correct department for production.
- Ship completed customer orders accurately and on time.
- Communicate with the sales and production teams regarding incoming products, backorders, and shipment status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys working as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience using a pallet jack is an asset
Position Details
- Temporary position covering a short-term medical leave
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday daytime hours
- Start Date: August 4, 2026
- Expected End Date: Approximately September 30, 2026
