We are a growing, client-focused CPA firm in Saskatoon seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our tax team.

This position is best suited for someone with public practice experience who is comfortable preparing both personal (T1) and corporate (T2) income tax returns and enjoys helping owner-managed businesses and individuals navigate their tax obligations.
What You'll Be Doing
As an important member of our team, you will:
- Prepare T1 personal income tax returns for a wide variety of clients.
- Prepare T2 corporate income tax returns for owner-managed businesses.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and working paper files.
- Complete bookkeeping, adjusting entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare GST/PST returns and other government filings.
- Communicate directly with clients to obtain information and answer questions.
- Correspond with the Canada Revenue Agency on behalf of clients.
- Work closely with our CPAs on tax planning opportunities and year-end engagements.
- Help ensure our clients receive timely, accurate, and proactive service.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Experience working in a Canadian public accounting firm.
- Experience preparing both T1 and T2 income tax returns.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax rules and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
- The ability to manage deadlines during busy tax seasons.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to support fellow team members.
Experience with ProFile, CaseWare, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software would be considered an asset.
