Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience with POS systems and food safety standards is preferred. The position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
Operate POS systems for order processing and billing
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing procedures afterward
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences
Prior Experience serving South Indian cuisines preferred.
Knowledge about South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, Puttu, Biriyani etc.
Flexible in taking other roles & responsibilities as assigned.
Experience working in newly launching restaurant environment.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly as a bartender or server
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters a welcoming atmosphere
Experience in the food industry, including serving, cashiering, and hospitality roles, is highly desirable
