Reporting to the Manager, Member Services, the Member Services Administrator will be a key member of a dedicated team committed to providing service excellence in the administration of our plans.

- Enhance your knowledge about HEB Manitoba by learning about our benefit Plans.
- Become familiar with HEB Manitoba’s internal software systems.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will increase to include:
- First point of contact for members, internal departments and stakeholders with the ability to answer general and specific questions about HEB’s products and services.
- Processing enrolments and changes for the benefit Plans.
- Written and oral communication with our members and stakeholders.
- Ensures accurate and up-to-date member and employment data by performing data integrity checks, supporting data clean-up initiatives, and maintaining employment records.
Qualifications for Your Success:
Experience & Education
- Completion of a related post-secondary degree or diploma (Business or Finance) and Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, and working towards CEBS, is preferred
- A minimum three years in a benefits administration, with a knowledge of group benefits
- Experience in an insurance or medical environment that includes familiarity processing disability and/or health/dental claims
- Experienced at delivering excellent customer service through a variety of mediums including telephone, email and written correspondence

Knowledge, Competencies & Skills
- Proven ability to process large volumes of work
- Proficient interpersonal skills to integrate and work well with team members in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated strengths in both written and oral communications skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
