We are currently looking for a talented Accounts Payable Technician to join the Finance Shared Services team!
Reporting to the department’s Group Leader, the Accounts Payable Technician plays a key role in ensuring that invoices are posted accurately and in a timely manner through efficient processes.
Main responsibilities

Verify, code, reconcile, and post invoices in the ERP system.
Obtain all required approvals for invoices.
Coordinate month-end closing tasks, including accruals and deferrals.
Respond to supplier payment requests.
Reconcile supplier statements.
Process weekly supplier payment cycles.
Help manage supplier relationships, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other departments.
Perform other general tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications

DEC, AEC, or DEP in accounting or administration.
A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a similar role (accounts payable) in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
Good knowledge of the entire accounts payable cycle.
Proficiency in accounting software and integrated management systems (ERP).
Plus: knowledge of D365
Attention to detail.
Bilingual: French and English
Experience with PowerLink, Mapics, AS400, or Microsoft Dynamics accounting software is a plus.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel, Outlook).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (PIVOT TABLE, VLOOKUP)
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
