We are seeking an experienced CNC Production Supervisor with proven production experience to direct a diverse team of production employees, including CNC machinists, programmers, operators and technicians, in the Wood shop and Machine Shop consisting of the below machines:
- Palletized VMCs
- Twin Spindle (Gantry Robot) CNC Lathes
- CNC Laser Punch (Trumpf)
- CNC Punch (Trumpf)
- CNC Brake Press
- TIG & MIG welded assembly
- CNC Multi Spindle Routers
- CNC Programming (up to 5-axis)
- ERP Scheduling
The successful candidate will optimize support from our engineering department and ERP team in the manufacturing of all primary parts required for production of the Adamson product range.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of primary production.
- Manage tooling of machines to ensure efficient parts production.
- Increase overall primary production throughput.
- Ensure timely production of prototypes.
- Support all mold making activities.
- Manage and improve CNC programming efforts.
- Work with the ERP team to optimize production timelines and supply chain management.
- Plan and implement infrastructure changes such as machinery purchases and layout .
- Conduct studies to determine labour and production cost saving possibilities.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve overall equipment performance (quality, output, and reliability).
- Support the development and implementation of preventative and corrective controls.
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelors degree or a Diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 10 years experience with various machine tools.
- 5 years+ experience in manufacturing management.
- Experience handling a team of 50+ employees.
- Understanding of ERP scheduling.
